ends a tough week and my weekend begins.

So I leave you with somethings I had bookmarked and hadn’t had time to write about them here.

* the lovely packaging for Buffy’s Bakery in Hong Kong designed by Blow.

* the color series postcards by Hilda

* this recipe for Rosemary Olive Oil Cake

home decor: the hall

Terça-feira, Abril 20th, 2010

this is our hallway, last weekend, when a gorgeous sunlight was coming from the window.

It isn’t quite finished, still needs a bit of love and attention, but I think it is coming together quite nicely.

a lovely find

Quinta-feira, Fevereiro 25th, 2010

A couple of weeks ago, on a Saturday walk in our neighbourhood, we found a small vintage sale.

We were particularly interested in old cameras, as both of us collect them, but then I came across this stall that was selling this set of vintage kitchen containers. They are in fairly good conditions and so we brought them home!

We were looking for a set like this for a long time but hadn’t found anything we truly loved. These really bring back memories from our childhood as they were quite popular at the time.

They look pretty good in our kitchen scheme colour and I’ve put them up in our kitchen shelves!

the bedroom: before and after

Quarta-feira, Fevereiro 17th, 2010

this is our bedroom back in June, right after we moved.

We only had my grandparents nightstands and the drawers, that were originally dark and that we had painted white.

Over the weekend we finally had our curtains put up and it looks so much cozier and put together.

And this is what it looks now!
